Development of novel bioanalytical platforms for the Biopharmaceutical industry

This project will develop new bioanalytical platforms for the separtion of biopharmaceuticals. These platforms will be based on the immobilisation of novel recombinant protein bioligands (developed by our group) onto a variety of novel polymers (developed by our ISSC partners. There is a huge need for these bioanalytical systems in the emerging biopharmaceutical sector. The project spans three disciplines of protein chemistry, polymer chemistry and mirofluidics.
